Sudden cardiac arrest is one of the UK’s biggest killers, and yet statistics show that most of the British public are unaware of the life-saving difference they can make by performing CPR

The Qualsafe Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support and Safe Use of an Automated External Defibrillator (RQF) qualification has been designed to provide candidates with the skills needed to administer safe, prompt and effective basic life support and use an AED safely in emergency situations. Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 require all employers to make arrangements to ensure their employees receive immediate attention if they are injured or taken ill at work. This includes carrying out a risk assessment, appointing a suitable amount of first aiders and providing appropriate first aid training. The Qualsafe Level 2 Award in the Principles of Infection Prevention and Control (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification that has been specifically designed for those who have a specific responsibility in infection prevention and control within their job role, such as in the NHS, Dental professionals or other healthcare environments.
During this half day course, candidates can refresh their knowledge or develop a greater understanding of the principles of infection prevention and control, including: roles and responsibilities, personal hygiene, policies and procedures and ways to minimise the risk of infection in a Health Care setting. Upon successful completion, candidates will be equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge needed to implement infection prevention and control into their workplace.
The Qualsafe Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) qualification is specifically designed for individuals who wish to act as a first aider in their workplace. Successful candidates will learn how to manage a range of injuries and illnesses that could occur at work and will be equipped with the essential skills needed to give emergency first aid. The Qualsafe Level 1 Award in Fire Safety Awareness (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification designed for those who want to increase their awareness of fire safety in the workplace. They will also learn what to do in the event of an emergency and the simple measures that can be taken to control the risk of fires.
