PART 2 - 1-day classroom-based workshop to complete First Aid practical’s, recap knowledge taught on part 1-e-learning session and included following topics :
- Unresponsive casualty not breathing normally Demonstration of CPR & AED (primary survey theory covered in pre-learning) CPR & AED learner practice
- Unconscious casualty breathing normally. Recovery position. (inc. seizure management)
- Choking casualty – Practical
- External bleeding Including treatment for shock and bandaging practical
- Minor injuries: Small cuts, grazes, bumps and bruises, small splinters, nosebleeds.
- Factures treatment – slings – Practical (theory covered in pre-learning)
- Head injuries
- Spinal injuries
