We all have busy lives and taking time out of our working week can be difficult for some. This legally compliant blended learning course can reduce how many days you need to attend a First Aid at Work training course.

Instead of attending a classroom based course for  3 full days you will attend for only 1 or 2 days depended on the course being delivered. Therefore, being for more cost effective and saving you time too.

Some training providers provide online first aid training courses, however many of these do not fully comply with all of your legal and industry regulations.

Do I have to complete the  e-learning part before the classroom training?

You must complete the e-learning course in full before you are eligible to attend training days in the classroom. (You will only gain the full certification once you have completed all parts).

Will I need to attended in person to complete First Aid practicals?

Yes. The practical elements of the qualifications will be covered in the classroom.

The blended QA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work course can be split into two sections,

Day one: Covers theory outside of the classroom via an 6 hours e-Learning interactive platform.

Day two & three: Classroom-based delivery focussing on practical skills.

Blended Learning QA Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF)

6 hours e-Learning 1 day face-to-face

Ideal for anyone who cares for children in a professional or non-professional capacity, you will gain the necessary skills to administer safe and effective treatment for a range of paediatric first aid situations.

With our new Blended Learning option, you can now complete our innovative e-Learning before completing one tutor-led workshop in the classroom focussing on the practical side of Paediatric First Aid.

The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Statutory Framework requires all early years providers in England to have at least one person with a valid paediatric first aid certificate on the premises and available at all times when children are present.

Blended Learning QA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF)

Did you know that an estimated 555,000 workers in Britain sustained an injury at work in 2017/18?

The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 require all employers to make arrangements to ensure their employees receive immediate attention if they are injured or taken ill at work.

This includes carrying out a risk assessment, appointing a suitable amount of first aiders and providing appropriate first aid training. However, having the correct first aid provision in the workplace is not just a legal requirement,

it is incredibly important for the safety of all members of staff!

Our blended learning QA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) qualification is specifically designed for individuals who wish to act as a first aider in their workplace, without having to attend 3 days of classroom teaching.
